About the Role

The Credit Strategies Team at KKR is seeking an Analyst/Associate to support the firm's public credit platform. This role involves assisting with new fund development, product support, marketing, fundraising, and investor relations, with a specific focus on leveraged credit products. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights on the firm, its offerings, and the public credit markets.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior team members on structuring, raising, and maintaining funds and separate accounts (“SMAs”).
  • Maintain an open dialogue with investors and provide ongoing LP and Investor support.
  • Work closely with investment professionals and deal teams to understand the current portfolio, deal pipeline, and overall market dynamics, and to create and disseminate asset class and portfolio insights.
  • Collaborate with sales professionals to pursue new business opportunities and investor relations globally, and to support ongoing fundraising efforts.
  • Liaise with Finance/Operations professionals for ongoing fund reporting and communications.
  • Coordinate with the legal team and external counsel to prepare legal documents, including PPMs, Prospectus, LPAs, and subscription documents.
  • Engage with the Technology and engineering team on data management and LP reporting.
  • Create and update marketing materials, quarterly presentations, and draft investor letters.
  • Actively participate in the investor diligence process.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst or Associate at an asset manager, investment bank, private funds/private placements firm, or in a credit/finance-related role.
  • Experience in a group offering exposure to credit products and analysis.
  • Team-oriented with strong analytical backgrounds.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Maturity, presence, and sound judgment.
  • Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across quantitative and qualitative domains.
  • Quick learner with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation.
  • Pro-active communicator.
  • Interest and prior experience in broader fundraising and product development.
  • Proven ability to manage demands of multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle heavy workloads while remaining attentive to detail.
  • Ability to tailor messages to suit different audiences.
  • Meticulous organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Technical and aesthetic mastery of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI systems and experience automating recurring deliverables.
  • Ability to communicate complex and nuanced topics to a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to form and express opinions effectively to cross-divisional teams, including senior management.
  • Strong relationship development skills, including remotely, with global teams and with individuals from whom work is requested.
