About the Role

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in patient care activities, including taking vital signs and recording medical data.
• Assist in completing insurance, compensation, disability, and prior authorization forms.
• Prepare and set up medical supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Escort and transport patients to examination rooms and other clinic locations.
• Evaluate patient care, monitor the provider's plan of care, and liaise with physicians and administration for efficient patient services.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate scheduling with the medical secretary.
• Ensure adequate patient follow-up for prescriptions, referrals, and diagnostic testing.
• Contribute to patient care through education and providing resource literature.
• Refer patients to appropriate resources for billing and financial support.

Requirements

• Must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm.
