About the Role
Box is undergoing an AI-first transformation, and this role will build the demo infrastructure to showcase Box's capabilities within AI platforms. You will own the integration and AI layer of our demo strategy, creating environments that demonstrate self-serve assets and custom builds for high-priority opportunities. This position offers direct exposure to enterprise customers and influences strategic deals.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain demo environments showcasing Box's AI and integration capabilities, including AI-powered experiences inside Box and Box as a content platform exposed to external AI systems.
- Develop demo workflows connecting Box's MCP server with other services to orchestrate multi-platform scenarios.
- Own a library of self-serve demo assets for the global sales team, ensuring they remain current with product and platform evolution.
- Provide hands-on demo build support for high-priority opportunities, tailoring environments to specific customer use cases and industries.
- Contribute to high-visibility programs such as analyst briefings, BoxWorks, and strategic deal pursuits.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure demo environments reflect the latest capabilities.
- Help define and evolve the technical demo strategy for Box's AI and integration story.
Requirements
- Possess a technical foundation, such as a degree in CS, engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience building software.
- Understand how modern AI systems connect to external tools and data, including MCP servers, agent orchestration, API-driven workflows, and prompt configuration.
- Work confidently with code, whether building applications from scratch, contributing to existing projects, or analyzing unfamiliar codebases.
- Translate business problems into tangible technical demos.
- Architect demos that connect services, configure tools, and tell compelling end-to-end stories.
- Be collaborative and communicative, enjoying interaction with SEs, sellers, product managers, and occasionally customers.
- Thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and new challenges.
- Take ownership of demo domains, keeping assets current, identifying gaps, and proactively building needed components.
- Box boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week.
