About the Role

This temporary, on-call position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about postal operations and exciting employment opportunities at Canada Post. Experience the dynamic environment of postal operations that only Canada Post can offer. If you are an enterprising individual with a flexible schedule, you will have the opportunity to work various shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekend.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accept mail.
• Sort, sweep, and sequentially classify mail, and create batches.
• Transfer postal trucks and load them.
• Transfer and ship parcels and packages.
• Write reports and documentation.
• Lift mail weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 lb).
• Perform other postal clerk duties as required.

Requirements

• No experience necessary.
• Work experience in a production environment is an asset.
• Candidates will be required to provide a letter of recommendation.
• Candidates will be required to complete a preliminary selection test and an interview.
