About the Role

The Service Technician at DELLA Auto Group is a skilled individual responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will work as an individual contributor and must have a strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify any issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Repair and replace parts and components, such as brakes, engines, and electrical systems.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to pinpoint problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly and the vehicle is safe to drive.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and answering any questions they may have.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Skills

• ASE certification is preferred.
