Responsibilities

  • Handle commercial and corporate litigation matters
  • Draft and argue motions in state and federal courts
  • Support regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
  • Manage assigned cases with increasing independence
  • Conduct written discovery and oversee document productions
  • Conduct legal research and draft substantive legal memoranda
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations
  • Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active State Bar membership (any state)
  • Up to 4 years of litigation experience
  • Experience handling matters in state and/or federal court
  • Experience drafting dispositive motions
  • Discovery management experience
  • AmLaw/boutique, government/regulatory/appellate, clerkship experience
  • California Bar admission
