About the Role
We are seeking a Software Developer - Internal Tools to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of YuJa’s internal technology ecosystem. This role involves working across software development, cloud infrastructure, identity management, enterprise applications, and automation workflows to build tools that empower our teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and internal applications using NodeJS, Typescript, or Java.
- Build solutions to automate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and access management.
- Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, BambooHR, Jira, Salesforce, and Freshworks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize internal systems, applications, and infrastructure through systematic debugging and root cause analysis.
- Design and implement scalable workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Manage and enhance identity and access management solutions, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and authentication workflows.
- Build and maintain scripts, utilities, and tools for internal teams.
- Work with APIs, web services, and system integrations to connect business applications.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of internal infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to understand technical requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Participate in infrastructure improvements, including backup solutions, disaster recovery, security enhancements, and system optimization.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant hands-on IT administration experience.
- Experience building internal automation platforms or developer tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with tools such as Git, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with cybersecurity practices, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
- Candidates must be already in Canada.
