About the Role
The Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality products by overseeing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Oversee product inspections to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
- Maintain documentation related to quality standards and processes.
- Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Train employees on quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies or customers.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
- Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field required (e.g., Quality Management, Food Science).
- 3+ years experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years managing and leading teams
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

- The standard clearance requirements depend on the position and may include some, or all, of the following: criminal clearance, employment verification, education verification and driver's abstract review.
