Heidelberg Materials is a leading global supplier of building materials. This role involves operating haul trucks to transport raw materials within a plant site, ensuring equipment safety through inspections, and adhering to site safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate haul trucks to transport raw materials within the plant site
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and plant personnel
- Follow site safety procedures and traffic regulations
- Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production environment
- Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing conditions
- Basic mechanical understanding and attention to operational details
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
