About the Role
Blackstone's Legal Department seeks an attorney for its Litigation & Investigations team to manage a broad range of litigation, regulatory enforcement, and investigations matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage broad range of litigation, regulatory enforcement and investigations matters from inception through resolution
- Oversee outside counsel, including scoping work and budgeting
- Advise internal clients on strategy and efficient resolution of disputes and regulatory matters
- Manage wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement of litigation and investigations processes, including knowledge management, reporting and use of technology
Requirements
- J.D. required
- Ideally 8+ years of experience working at a leading U.S. law firm and/or in-house department focused on litigation and investigations
- Must be a team player, willing to roll up sleeves and work with a variety of personalities in a dynamic environment
- Experience to exercise exceptional judgment, communicate succinctly, manage stakeholders, build consensus and independently manage projects essential
