About the Role
Medcan is a global leader in proactive and primary care. This role owns the P&L performance and client experience strategy for the high-growth membership business, acting as the strategic engine behind membership revenue, retention, engagement, and pricing.
Responsibilities
- Own the membership revenue plan, analyzing performance trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain a clear view of the revenue bridge, modeling new sales, retention, pricing, and mix.
- Translate analysis into structured business cases and investment decisions.
- Surface channel-specific opportunities across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C segments.
- Partner with Operations and FP&A to ensure resource plans and financial models support client obsession and profitable growth.
- Own the membership product strategy, defining and maintaining clear value propositions.
- Keep the portfolio competitive and fresh by monitoring competitors and global benchmarks.
- Drive the product roadmap by translating strategy into prioritized enhancements, innovations, and partnership opportunities.
- Lead the membership narrative in collaboration with marketing and sales.
- Align stakeholders on priorities, sequencing trade-offs, and driving go-to-market execution.
- Understand client moments that matter to drive satisfaction using utilization data, CSAT, and feedback.
- Design and continuously improve the end-to-end member journey in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Represent the client's voice in cross-functional forums.
- Develop and evolve pricing architecture to grow average revenue per user (ARPU).
- Lead offer strategy, designing and refining bundling, packaging, and promotional constructs.
- Use market benchmarks, cohort analysis, and client willingness-to-pay signals to inform pricing and offer recommendations.
- Partner with Finance on impact modeling and with Sales and Marketing on positioning and rollout of changes.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in product management, growth strategy, category management, or brand management within a recurring revenue or membership business.
- Deep fluency in subscription economics (cohort analysis, churn modelling, LTV, ARPU, retention curves).
- Proven track record of building and executing growth plans.
- Strong analytical instincts, with the ability to model data, ask critical questions, and create clear business cases.
- Practical adoption of AI tools for analysis and decision-making.
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and build buy-in without authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Background in telecom, loyalty programs, financial services, consumer health, or premium wellness is strongly preferred.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
