About the Role
Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for adding bandwidth to the engineering team, and they are seeking someone who thrives on ownership, loves building robust, high-performance systems, and can help scale engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete lifecycle of high-stakes projects - from initial architecture and design to deployment and continuous optimization.
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end features across our stack (Python, Next.js, Node).
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the long-term technical direction of the product.
- Rebuild core features using the latest technology to improve upon existing solutions.
- Uphold engineering excellence through thoughtful code review and testing, shipping to production daily.
Requirements
- Up to 4 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, using Python, Next.js, and Node.
- Experience owning features end-to-end, from RFC to deployment.
- Experience as ex-Founders and/or from YC-backed startup (Pre-Seed/Seed) backgrounds.
- Experience in the supply chain or logistics industry.
- Must work in-office in San Francisco, 5 days/week.
- Willingness to work long hours (e.g., 12+ hour days).
- Active GitHub; demonstrated initiative through side projects/Founder experience.
