About the Role
Patient Care Technicians thrive at the bedside as invaluable care providers, serving as critical points of contact for patients and their families. This role involves providing compassionate patient focus and performing select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse to improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
- Current BLS required from American Heart Association.
- Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aide training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing and completed at least one clinical practicum.
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
