About the Role

The Senior Finance Business Partner provides strategic financial leadership and support to the healthcare system, ensuring alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals. This role collaborates with senior management, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to drive financial performance and decision-making. The Senior Finance Business Partner oversees essential financial functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop long-term financial strategies and plans.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Align financial goals with organizational objectives.
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Prepare and update financial forecasts.
Monitor budget adherence and recommend adjustments.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational reporting requirements.
Present financial data to senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Recommend cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement strategies.
Support departments in implementing financial improvement initiatives.
Act as a financial advisor to senior management and department heads.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to discuss financial performance.
Provide training and support on financial processes and tools.
Lead or participate in finance-related projects as needed.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure project success.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Review and update existing policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least seven (7) years of progressive professional experience in finance, accounting, or consulting with broad knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted, as appropriate.
