About the Role

Salesforce is seeking a Product Information Management (PIM) Specialist to join their Solution Engineering team. This role focuses on Informatica's Product 360 / PIM solution, serving as the expert for discovery, demos, competitive positioning, and technical solutioning for PIM opportunities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned PIM practitioner, technically sharp, demo-fluent, and passionate about solving customer product data challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compelling, story-driven demos tailored to customer use cases using hands-on expertise with Informatica Product 360 (PIM/MDM).
  • Work with complex data architectures including ERP integrations, digital asset management, multilingual/localization workflows, and product hierarchy management.
  • Articulate Informatica's value and differentiation using competitive knowledge of the PIM landscape.
  • Present to and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for account teams, supporting RFPs, POCs, and onsite engagements.
  • Collaborate with a community-building mindset, sharing knowledge, building enablement assets, and contributing to the broader SE community.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science (B.S., Master's, or Ph.D.).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years demonstrated experience in Product & Data Modeling.
  • Hands-on expertise with Informatica Product 360, MDM, or equivalent PIM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of product data modeling, including attribute management, classification hierarchies, product families, variants, BOM, and bundles.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks such as data quality rules, stewardship workflows, approval processes, and completeness scoring.
  • Experience with Digital Commerce, including product content syndication to PIM-connected storefronts, PDP enrichment, and SEO-ready content workflows.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and understanding of item master management and data flows between ERP and PIM.
  • Familiarity with DAM platforms and linking rich media to product records.
  • Knowledge of API & Integration Patterns including REST/SOAP APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and middleware for product data ingestion and syndication.
  • Experience with Emerging Capabilities like Data Enrichment & AI (AI-assisted attribute tagging, auto-classification, generative content) within modern PIM platforms.
  • Experience with Multilingual/Localization, managing regional product data variants, translation workflows, and country-specific compliance attributes.
