Responsibilities
- Greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns politely and professionally.
- Operates scanning equipment and cash register, performing all checkout procedures.
- Maintains transaction accuracy, collects payments, and adheres to security and cash handling procedures.
- Follows store and legal guidelines for tobacco and alcohol sales.
- Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout.
- Ensures general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
- Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store function.
- Utilizes all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assists in other departments as needed.
