About the Role
The Application Analyst will support, configure, and optimize core enterprise applications. This role involves working independently to deliver project-level goals, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring seamless cross-functional integration with teams like Networking and Software Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage time and tasks independently to deliver project-level goals with minimal oversight.
- Resolve moderately complex technical application problems that require investigation.
- Apply standard procedures to ensure application health and mitigate system interruptions.
- Improve application processes, designs, or services using best practices.
- Maintain system health through application configuration, system integration monitoring, and data validation.
- Define and advocate for team technical standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with adjacent IT teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Actively support peers and model a team-first mindset.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to manage time and deliver project-level goals independently.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve moderately complex technical problems.
- Experience defining technical standards or best practices for an application team.
- Knowledge of technology systems, OSS, BSS, or web platforms.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
