About the Role

CBI Health is Canada's leading community healthcare provider, seeking to innovate services for better client recovery and support. Our Community Rehabilitation Services team treats clients with mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to pre-accident function. We offer opportunities to specialize in Traumatic Psychological Injury or Complex Auto programs, providing comprehensive care and utilizing innovative interventions.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-vivo exposure therapy and behavioural activation.
Facilitate trauma processing, coping, and return to function.
Complete in-home and hospital discharge assessments.
Perform ergonomic assessments.
Provide concussion treatment.
Engage in cognitive rehabilitation.
Offer mental health treatment.
Guide clients through every step of their recovery.

Requirements

Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (travel up to 1-1.5 hours radius).
Willingness to provide in-vivo OT treatment in various settings (client homes, workplaces, community).
Passion for the profession, commitment to ongoing professional development, and dedication to client care.
Ability to thrive in a self-directed and independent environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and analytic skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Empathy and ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in the private sector, particularly auto sector legislation and mental health, is an asset.

Salary/Compensations

$42.00–$54.00 per hour
