About the Role
The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing based on individual child needs and program requirements. This role is for change makers who are curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Ensure compliance with licensing guidelines, company standards, and Pre-K program requirements.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and center success.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
