About the Role
The Systems Operations Associate facilitates the delivery of scalable process and product enhancements to Roku's content pipeline. This role supports the Platform Business & Revenue Operations group, acting as a subject matter expert for business operations technology and business solutions. The Associate serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and product/engineering teams, requiring strong organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a partner to business stakeholders and technical teams, identifying opportunities for improved data accuracy, consolidation, and process efficiency.
- Own the accuracy and integrity of business operations data across core systems.
- Support data governance and compliance requirements, including SOX and audit readiness.
- Complete quarterly gap analyses of processes and translate findings into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to design and improve in-house systems for reporting, data consolidation, and workflow automation.
- Participate in sprint planning to prioritize enhancements and new feature requests.
- Identify manual, error-prone, or duplicative workflows and drive automation initiatives.
- Support stakeholders in testing and validation of new product features, data models, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
- Maintain familiarity with upstream and downstream system integrations and assess potential impacts of changes.
- Support the maintenance of business and operational documentation.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in business operations, systems operations, or a related analytical/operational role.
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM/ERP systems.
- Experience with data governance, data quality management, and SOX or similar compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting new product or feature launches requiring cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort leveraging ticketing systems, reports, and dashboards (JIRA or Salesforce experience a plus).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced Excel/data analysis skills; experience with BI or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) a plus.
- Self-organized with a structured, detail-oriented approach to workflows and problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
