About the Role
The Supportive Housing Navigator provides bilingual housing and services navigation for supportive housing prospects. This role acts as a single point of entry for waitlists, connects prospects to housing options, and supports both Property Management and Resident Services teams with a person-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with property staff to maintain current knowledge of tenant selection criteria, application processes, and waitlist procedures.
- Ensure website information remains accurate and up to date.
- Communicate with the public via phone, email, and in-person to provide program information and customer service.
- Manage supportive housing waitlists by monitoring openings and placing applicants via Haven Connect.
- Educate applicants on Haven Connect account management and the lease-up or lottery process.
- Track inquiries and interactions to capture data on community needs.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources to provide alternative housing and services navigation.
- Provide administrative and data entry support to the SRO Services team.
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Experience working with homeless or economically disadvantaged adults and families preferred.
- Knowledge of non-profit housing and social service organizations preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
