About the Role
The Field Installation Supervisor (IS) is a part-time position responsible for supervising a group of 2-3 Installation Merchandiser Floaters within a specific geography. Installation Merchandisers help build Hallmark fixtures, moving card departments, installing new stores, store relocations, and card department remodels.
Responsibilities
- Perform supervisory overview and assistance with service work in Hallmark departments.
- Supervise a team of 2-3 Installation Merchandiser Floaters.
- Document and manage performance with manager feedback and input.
- Handle retailer concerns, retail execution issues and retail merchandiser performance issues.
- Prepare, direct and follow-up on minor installations including resetting product, building fixtures and merchandising product.
- Lead or participate in major installations when business exceptions require additional support.
- Motivate in-person and remote teams.
- Follow through on commitments and lead by example in applying Hallmark’s best practices.
- Manage and lead others through change.
- Delegate tasks when needed.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Manage time efficiently.
- Handle administrative duties.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, understand and communicate in English.
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Flexibility to work a changing work schedule that may include an occasional evening or weekend.
- Required to work the week before and the week after major holidays.
- Must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday.
- May be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
- Must be able to sign an Employment Agreement.
- Must be able to sign an agreement to arbitrate in connection with the Hallmark Dispute Resolution Program.
- Must be able to complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
