About the Role
As a Senior Platform Operations Specialist, you will support the Platform Operations team in running and continuously improving operational and organizational processes for SaaS and platform offerings. You will ensure stability, reliability, and timely delivery in day-to-day operations while reporting to the Manager of Platform Operations & Support.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing operations for MEDI:CUS and Deutschlandplattform platforms.
- Optimize operational workflows and support functions.
- Ensure platform scalability through standardization, automation, and reusable support concepts.
- Establish and develop support processes, documentation, and service standards.
- Structure and develop the operations and support organization, including defining roles and interfaces.
- Coordinate vendors, operations partners, and internal staff.
- Monitor systems, perform error analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive automation and integrate AI tools to modernize operations.
- Manage incident response and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Above-average degree in a technical or scientific field.
- Several years of experience in operations management of digital platforms or SaaS solutions.
- Solid knowledge of IT service processes, ticketing systems, and technical operating models.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- Experience creating dashboards and managing ticketing tools like JIRA Service Management or ServiceNow.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor and service provider management.
- Strong personal accountability for task delivery.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or IT-Grundschutz.
- Experience supporting audits.
- Excellent technical understanding and process orientation.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
