About the Role

Zurich's Property Risk Engineering team is seeking a Senior Property Account Engineering consultant with Highly Protected Risk (HPR) experience. This role involves account engineering responsibilities, depending on experience and workload.

Responsibilities

  • Manage account risk portfolio and provide account-level engineering to meet underwriting requirements.
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies to reduce loss and improve customer operations.
  • Perform plan reviews and support change management.
  • Manage account risk portfolio and provide account-level risk engineering to meet underwriting and/or customer requirements where unattached from risk transfer.
  • Provide engineering support to the underwriting team by attending client broker meetings.
  • Monitor property account engineering services to ensure proper, on-time, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Provide advanced property consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigating the cause/effect of major losses, and property management programs.
  • Assist in marketing Zurich risk transfer insurance products in conjunction with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segments.
  • Assist in marketing of Zurich Resilience Solutions risk engineering services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience within the Risk Engineering area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience within the Risk Engineering area.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
