About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating supplier deliveries, scheduling backhaul pickups, verifying purchase orders, and ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and enjoys working closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate supplier deliveries and carrier backhaul pickups.
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate updates to suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Verify purchase orders for accuracy, including quantities, pricing, and product descriptions.
- Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and the purchasing department.
- Oversee daily receiving activities to ensure products are received accurately and on time.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of incoming products.
- Enter receiving data accurately into inventory management systems.
- Maintain organized records of deliveries, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and transportation partners.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve receiving processes and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Must comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
Skills

Experience Level

- Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS) (Preferred).
- Knowledge of import procedures or international trade regulations is a plus.
