Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the PMM team, building the Product Marketing vision and assembling a team of technical marketers.
- Drive the production of benchmarks, white papers, performance analyses, and reliability reports to build market credibility.
- Develop detailed messaging, positioning, and packaging by product.
- Build assets to help close and operationalize multi-billion-dollar deals for data centers and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain differentiated positioning for Lambda’s full portfolio.
- Partner with product, engineering, growth, and sales leadership to plan and execute product launches end-to-end.
- Define audience, message, channel mix, and success metrics for go-to-market strategy.
- Establish a systematic view of the cloud AI landscape and translate intelligence into actionable guidance.
- Define PMM KPIs across pipeline influence, win rates, share of voice, and product adoption.
- Use data to make the program smarter over time and grow marketing’s contribution to revenue.
- Continuously grow Lambda’s pool of customer stories, working with customers, sales, and content to illustrate key selling points and customer breakthroughs.
Requirements
- Built product marketing programs at a GPU cloud, specialized infrastructure company, AI company, or hyperscaler's AI infrastructure division.
- Understand the difference between marketing to an ML engineer and an enterprise infrastructure buyer.
- Ready to lead a team, run multiple interconnected programs, and influence stakeholders.
- Spent meaningful time in GPU cloud, data center, or AI infrastructure.
- Understand why customers choose one provider over another, what makes a benchmark credible, and how data center capacity is bought and sold.
- Stood up or significantly grown a PMM function before.
- Know how to build a team, identify gaps, and hire to close them.
- Hired, mentored, and grown product marketing professionals.
- Give feedback that sticks, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and build cultures where people do their best work.
- Design repeatable systems in support of a vision, such as a cadence of customer stories, a pipeline of credibility assets, or a playbook for data center enablement.
- Know cloud infrastructure in depth.
- Can write a sharp positioning brief and help a TPMM get a case study across the finish line.
- Launched complex technical products before.
- Know what good launch planning looks like and how to hold cross-functional teams accountable.
- Track outcomes and use information to make better decisions.
Skills
- 10+ years in product marketing at B2B cloud, data center, cloud infrastructure, or AI companies.
- Demonstrated impact on pipeline, win rates, or market perception.
- Experience at a specialized GPU cloud provider or a hyperscaler’s AI infrastructure division is strongly preferred.
- Direct experience marketing data center capacity, colocation services, or large-scale GPU clusters.
- Ability to run a high-cadence, multi-format content and credibility program.
- Experience building and leading PMM teams.
- Track record owning GTM strategy for major product launches.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with product, engineering, growth, sales, data center operations, and executive leadership.
- In-depth understanding of training, inference, AI data center, and infrastructure.
