About the Role

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday, Area Service Representative (ASR). This role is responsible for product delivery and servicing of displays/equipment, while providing superior customer service to established retail accounts. The ASR ensures rental displays are clean, stocked, and well-maintained on an assigned route, including inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental machines. The role requires projecting confidence and safety, extending customer-friendly service, and aligning with the Rug Doctor Mission Statement. Candidates should enjoy working independently, have a successful track record, and be able to self-manage productivity in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide delivery of products
  • Service of display/equipment
  • Provide superior customer service to established retail accounts
  • Ensure rental display is clean, stocked and well maintained at multiple retail locations on an assigned route
  • Inspect, clean and service rental machines
  • Implement new and improved process and procedures as needed
  • Project the confidence and safety of Rug Doctor
  • Extend customer friendly service to those who use and benefit from our products and services
  • Accomplish duties in a way that is consistent with the Rug Doctor Mission Statement
  • Work independently
  • Self-manage productivity in a fast-paced environment in the delivery of products daily

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Meet physical requirements - bending, stooping, kneeling, lift/raise up to 50lbs from ground to higher levels, and manually push/pull up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in different climates – hot, cold, etc
  • Ability to drive a vehicle for consecutive hours in a day
  • Consent of candidate is required to complete a criminal background inquiry, non-DOT physical and to complete and pass a drug screen
