About the Role
This position oversees the daily operations of the legal assistant team, ensuring efficient case management through oversight, development, training, and performance management. The role requires strong knowledge of legal procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to mentor and lead a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the development and training of assigned legal support staff.
- Monitors all aspects of team performance management including customer experience, work product quality, productivity, and compliance with strategy and objectives.
- Manages the performance of legal assistants and legal administration clerks to ensure efficiency and productivity in multiple branch legal offices.
- Interfaces with assigned personnel to resolve workflow problems, process improvement needs, and concerns.
- Fosters an inclusive work environment where behaviors lead to positive operational outcomes.
- Recruits, hires, conducts onboarding, and training for new support staff.
- Oversees administrative tasks and training of support staff.
- Implements training programs and manages clerical PTO and coverage.
- Develops and implements professional development plans for support staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the legal office operations.

Salary/Compensations
- $62,353 - $110,000 (DC/NJ/NY/OH)
- $64,875 - $95,150 (Albany County, NY/Cleveland, OH)
