Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy and delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
• Ensure children are energized and ready to learn and grow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and smoothly running kitchen.
• Support teachers and engage in classroom activities (optional).
• Sweep and mop halls, restrooms, classrooms, lobby, and staff lounge.
• Clean the interior of all glass windows in the building.
• Vacuum mats and rugs.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, countertops, tabletops, and fixtures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of food preparation experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.
• Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) experience preferred.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
• 1+ years of commercial or residential cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work within specified hours.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
