About the Role
A Wholesale Controls Channel Account Manager focuses on Wholesale Distributor accounts, building relationships with new and existing customers, expanding sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration Controls industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement control strategy plans for HVAC/R Wholesale accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Wholesale customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HVAC/R Wholesale channel.
- Work with many different roles within the customers organization, including executive leadership, engineering, product management, procurement, and sourcing.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Wholesale customers.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.
- Understand Wholesale customer needs and requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
- Forecast sales and manage opportunities.
- Understand the sales process and cycle.
- Develop and manage account plans.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct outside sales experience, with a preference for experience in the HVAC/R industry
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
