About the Role
The team member will work with the Director of TPRIM and other stakeholders to enhance the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRIM) program, operationalize cyber risk rating platforms, and perform continuous cyber risk intelligence monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Review and enhance TPRIM program foundations including policies, frameworks, SOPs, and contractual templates.
- Define risk appetite, scope, and value metrics for the TPRIM program.
- Operationalize the Third-Party Cyber Risk Rating platform, including vendor inventory and risk profile monitoring.
- Develop smart alert notifications and reporting data for leadership.
- Socialize the program with internal stakeholders and critical third-party vendors.
- Perform 'eyes on glass' cyber risk intelligence monitoring and vulnerability risk assessments.
- Conduct impact analysis for security events such as breaches and zero-day events.
- Collaborate on target action plans and track issue resolution.
- Interact with third-party vendors supporting the Cyber Risk Rating platform.
- Manage escalation, reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management methodologies and regulatory guidance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience at a bank, financial institution, large corporation, or fintech.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Well-versed in financial regulatory and supervisory risk expectations.
- Proven experience in contract management and interpreting contractual risk provisions.
- Previous leadership experience including mentoring junior employees.
- Familiarity with vendor technology risk assessment controls and IT-audit support.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments such as OCC 2013-29, FFIEC BRP/DR Handbook, and FDIC guidance.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
