About the Role
Supervise and manage 5-9 merchandisers within a specific territory, ensuring effective product delivery to 20-30 retail locations. Train, develop, and evaluate merchandisers to maintain high standards in serviced retail locations. This is a hands-on role requiring passion for selling flowers and providing excellent customer service, with approximately 80% of time spent in the field.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor an assigned geographic region at various Falcon Farms Customers' points of sale.
- Evaluate merchandiser performance, assign resources, cover absences, audit store displays, and maintain strong relationships with floral buyers.
- Prioritize daily routines based on business needs and short-term requirements.
- Provide business-related data to merchandisers to enhance their execution.
- Analyze region and store-specific data to propose actions for improving business profitability.
- Manage route operational/sales activity, including ordering, distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning, and meeting customer expectations.
- Ensure proper upkeep and personal presentation of the merchandising team.
- Train and provide ongoing feedback to merchandisers.
- Liaise with Falcon Farms' HR team to meet staffing needs and ensure compliance.
- Engage with customers' store management teams to strengthen Falcon Farms' representation.
- Cover merchandising routes as needed.
Requirements
- Able to regularly lift up to 20 lbs. on an ongoing basis throughout each shift.
- Able to stand on an ongoing basis throughout each shift.
- Able to consistently work assigned schedule.
- Able to drive to stores, check product, and audit work done by merchandisers.
- Ability to read and follow merchandising schematics.
- Valid Driver License.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
