About the Role

Develops and leads marketing strategy for a specified area to deliver customer-centric, multi-channel programs that drive customer growth, retention, and engagement. Manages professional employees and/or supervisors supporting complex marketing functions. This role supports the Alliance business line as part of the Alliance Marketing Studio team, with a primary focus on marketing for Edward Jones and State Farm Alliance programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and leads marketing strategy for a specified area to deliver customer-centric, multi-channel programs that drive customer growth, retention, and engagement.
  • Identifies and tracks key performance indicators to measure ROI and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Manages professional employees and/or supervisors supporting complex marketing functions.
  • Uses segment-specific strategies and channels to launch marketing programs and products in collaboration with agencies and cross-functional partners (product, sales, and technology teams).
  • Negotiates contracts and activates vendor relationships to support brand and business objectives.
  • Adapts departmental plans to address evolving priorities, resource constraints, and operational needs.
  • Drives growth through partner sales and branch networks, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Provides additional support for other Alliance initiatives, including Campus and Workplace programs.

Requirements

  • Experience across multiple marketing channels: email, organic social, direct mail, paid media (search, display, social), and events.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and engagement in program success.
  • Performance marketing mindset with ability to measure, analyze, and optimize impact on business growth.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple partners, including internal marketing teams (project management, creative, channel) and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain timelines.
  • Experience directing creative execution with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • B2B2C marketing experience.
  • Sales enablement experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing and marketing strategy with a proven track record of results.
  • Knowledge of assigned geographic market, competitive landscape, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp products and services.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and execute in support of business goals.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to delegate and manage multiple projects, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in using a variety of software tools and systems.
  • MBA or other indicators of advanced achievement preferred.

Salary/Compensations
