About the Role
The Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management in daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Promote company customer service programs
- Greet retail customers and assist with merchandise selection
- Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers
- Complete assigned company training
- Answer phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, and recommend related items
- Maintain and secure cash drawers and process transactions
- Process exchanges and returns according to policy
- Resolve customer complaints
- Assist with store maintenance, planogram updates, and freight processing
- Perform operational tasks including inventory cycle counts and merchandise returns
- Operate brake lathe and store test equipment
- Perform in-store services such as battery testing and wiper installation
- Drive delivery vehicles as needed
Requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
- Ability to multitask between phone and in-store customers
- Valid driving record meeting company eligibility requirements
Skills
- Automotive parts knowledge
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish highly desired)
Salary/Compensations
- $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
