About the Role

Support physical and occupational therapy care by preparing treatment areas, assisting patients, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Our mission is to get New Yorkers back to life through five-star customer service and human interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment areas for patient care.
  • Greet every patient with a smile and treat everyone with SPEARIT.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Follow the company SPEAR-IT values: Service, Passion, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork.
  • Arrive ten minutes early and understand the urgency of patient needs.
  • Actively listen to and guide patients through exercises as prescribed by Physical Therapists, under direct supervision.
  • Provide a clean and organized environment, including laundry, linens, and equipment maintenance.
  • Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under direct supervision.
  • Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service.
  • Foster a collaborative community environment for patients and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to grow.
  • Athletic experience is a plus.
  • Requires manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance.
  • Ability to lift loads of 5-35 pounds.
  • Ability to carry loads of 5-10 pounds for 40-50 feet.
  • Ability to push loads of 5-150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys.
  • Ability to sustain a grip of 40-50 pounds for 1-2 minutes.
