About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Plan work estimation and forecasting.
  • Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards.
  • Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems.
  • Conduct analysis to determine integration needs and design integration plans.
  • Prepare technical documentation including design evaluation plans and test results.
  • Write high-quality, testable code.
  • Implement unit, integration, functional, and performance tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborative programming.
  • Develop reusable software building blocks.
  • Improve performance of existing software by resolving critical issues.
  • Establish development practices and processes.
  • Manage and mentor software engineers.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science with 5+ years of experience in web technology stacks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in web technology stacks.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of managing a team of developers.
  • Proven track record of architecting and scaling complex technical solutions.
  • Leadership experience in Agile environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET 8 and ASP.NET MVC.
  • 7+ years of C# experience with deep understanding of client-side and server-side development.
  • SQL Server proficiency including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
  • JavaScript experience with a component UI library.
  • Background in configuring and securing file transfer protocols and automating file movements via API.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
  • Experience with version control platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and package managers.
  • Extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.
