About the Role
We are seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
- Promote a collaborative team environment to achieve business objectives.
- Plan work estimation and forecasting.
- Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards.
- Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems.
- Conduct analysis to determine integration needs and design integration plans.
- Prepare technical documentation including design evaluation plans and test results.
- Write high-quality, testable code.
- Implement unit, integration, functional, and performance tests.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative programming.
- Develop reusable software building blocks.
- Improve performance of existing software by resolving critical issues.
- Establish development practices and processes.
- Manage and mentor software engineers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science with 5+ years of experience in web technology stacks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in web technology stacks.
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of managing a team of developers.
- Proven track record of architecting and scaling complex technical solutions.
- Leadership experience in Agile environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET 8 and ASP.NET MVC.
- 7+ years of C# experience with deep understanding of client-side and server-side development.
- SQL Server proficiency including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
- JavaScript experience with a component UI library.
- Background in configuring and securing file transfer protocols and automating file movements via API.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience with version control platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and package managers.
- Extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.
