About the Role
Drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads, closing sales, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
- Evaluate and qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and timeline focusing on consumables and selected systems opportunities.
- Use effective questioning techniques to understand customer requirements.
- Conduct virtual product presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
- Negotiate and close deals with prospects for consumables and selected system opportunities.
- Follow up with potential customers to address any concerns and finalize agreements.
- Maintain and update CRM software (SFDC) with accurate customer information and sales activities.
- Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with the field sales, marketing, and technical support teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve marketing efforts.
- Generate sales reports and present them to the management team.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or a similar role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Tech savvy with advanced working knowledge of key prospecting tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Proficient in CRM software (SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relationship builder, creative dealmaker, and a part of our growth trajectory.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies.
- Understanding of the industry and market trends.

- Experience selling bioprocessing products or technologies (Bonus).
- Familiarity with upstream/downstream bioprocessing workflows (Bonus).
