About the Role

The Manager will develop and lead cross-cutting culture and communications initiatives, touching various aspects of the employee experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to run company town halls, partner on talent recognition, manage guest speakers, build culture training, and evolve culture tools, including exploring AI advancements. It provides broad exposure to how Bridgewater operates, its business, people, and itself.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of Culture & Internal Communications' goals, identifying opportunities, visualizing plans, and orchestrating processes to meet priorities.
  • Potentially manage a team member, providing clarity on priorities, setting high standards, and supporting their growth.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the firm to design, execute, and improve company-wide initiatives in communications, dialogue forums, transparency, brand, talent recognition, or culture tools and training.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to visualize and execute cross-functional and firm-wide initiatives with operational excellence.
  • Apply a builder's mindset to culture tools and training, exploring AI's potential to enhance effectiveness.
  • Develop insights for culture- and employee experience-related decision-making by sourcing and analyzing internal and external data.
  • Design compelling materials for various audiences, including senior leaders, to clarify complex problem approaches and progress indicators.
  • Utilize stakeholder feedback for actionable insights and develop recommendations for evolution.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, with all employee levels, including senior leadership.
  • Genuine curiosity around AI and comfort experimenting with new technology.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment with flexibility and agility.
  • Experience managing complex, ambiguous, multi-phased projects with strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines independently.
  • Proven track record of strong process management skills with experience driving organizational change.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, or strong analytical, consulting, and project management skills.
  • Interest and/or previous work experience in culture, communications, or other people-related functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years in a program or project management-type position.
