About the Role

This role implements and executes capacity and capability management, ensuring effective workflow by engaging with cross-functional leads and customers to understand project scope and technical needs. The position drives process improvements to achieve financial results, manages team performance and development, and operates effectively within the UL matrix to support high-performance culture changes and transformation efforts. It involves holding self and team accountable for results, assisting in defining goals and metrics, and developing/coaching employees through training, career counseling, and feedback.

Responsibilities

Supports sales by building relationships with customers and obtaining feedback.
Provides direct support to customers and team with technical guidance and engineering judgment.
Ensures quality and adherence to policies and standards requirements.
Leads and/or participates in discussions to drive business initiatives.
Empowers and holds team accountable to find new opportunities to drive growth and financial goals.
Delegates Project Handlers to establish appropriate test programs.
Supports and guides project handlers to ensure compliance with requirements and changes.
Explains UL family of company's policies, procedures, and requirements.
Negotiates completion dates and sample requirements.
Ensures an effective experience with the UL family of companies.
May handle some projects and/or act as lead reviewer to support workflow and demand.
Communicates and exemplifies ULs Vision and Mission.
Leads, promotes, and embraces change through self and team.
Collaborates and builds trust within the organization and with customers.
Develops strong, flexible cross-functional networks and global relationships.
Reads and follows the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct.
Follows all physical and digital security practices.
Performs other duties as directed.
