About the Role

McGard is seeking a highly talented and motivated Inventory Associate to join their dynamic team and contribute to the company's ongoing success in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates inventory management.
• Develops and implements procedures for ensuring adequate inventory levels.
• Identifies and optimizes common inventory items.
• Ensures inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner.
• Researches inventory discrepancies and submits accurate inventory, justifying issues.
• Assists in determining the root cause of inventory discrepancies and eliminating repetitive errors.
• Works with steel storage warehouses to inventory steel.
• Arranges for steel deliveries to various steel locations.
• Develops, evaluates, and improves processes in the area of responsibility.
• Presents information effectively to suit the audience.
• Conveys information clearly and concisely, verbally or in writing.
• Documents and reports complex or unique issues, articulating written conclusions.
• Makes determinations based on facts.
• Identifies problems, reports potential problems, and assesses options.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
• One to three (1-3) years of related experience in part handling, production control, or supply chain management.
• Capable of traveling and working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation.
