About the Role
McGard is seeking a highly talented and motivated Inventory Associate to join their dynamic team and contribute to the company's ongoing success in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Plans, directs, and coordinates inventory management.
- Develops and implements procedures for ensuring adequate inventory levels.
- Identifies and optimizes common inventory items.
- Ensures inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner.
- Researches inventory discrepancies and submits accurate inventory, justifying issues.
- Assists in determining the root cause of inventory discrepancies and eliminating repetitive errors.
- Works with steel storage warehouses to inventory steel.
- Arranges for steel deliveries to various steel locations.
- Develops, evaluates, and improves processes in the area of responsibility.
- Presents information effectively to suit the audience.
- Conveys information clearly and concisely, verbally or in writing.
- Documents and reports complex or unique issues, articulating written conclusions.
- Makes determinations based on facts.
- Identifies problems, reports potential problems, and assesses options.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
- One to three (1-3) years of related experience in part handling, production control, or supply chain management.
- Capable of traveling and working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation.
