About the Role
Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and is hiring now for Property Managers. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, assessing customer needs, selling supplies, conducting unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and performing collection calls.
Responsibilities
- Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions.
- Sell packing and moving supplies.
- Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
- Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
- Assist customers with payments and make reminder and collection calls.
- Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas.
- Maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal, ensuring cleanliness and freedom from debris.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must utilize own vehicle for travel between work locations and for work-related business.
- Ability to transport and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of time outdoors.
- Ability to climb stairs and open large doors.
