About the Role

The Engineering Technician I provides hands-on technical support to engineering, technology, and systems engineering functions during the design, development, assembly, and testing phases of process equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering staff during the assembly, test, and qualification of equipment, instrumentation, and tooling.
  • Prepare assembly drawings, equipment layouts, specifications, and process documentation using sketches and standard office applications.
  • Utilize test equipment and gauges to evaluate and document the performance of components and systems.
  • Gather and organize data to support ROI cost analysis, process efficiency, and capability studies.
  • Perform hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of components and systems based on drawings or instructions.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members through active listening and professional interaction.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 2 years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Clear, organized, and professional communication skills.
  • High degree of energy and drive.
