About the Role

ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite services for a friendly and active teenager in the Fayetteville area. Staff will provide support and oversight at home and in the community, accompanying the individual on recreational outings. Patience and understanding are valued as the individual works on communication skills. Shifts are available after-school on weekdays starting at 2:00 PM, with potential for weekend availability. Schedule flexibility can be discussed with the parent.

Responsibilities

Provide Respite services for a teenager.
Provide support and oversight at home and in the community.
Accompany the individual on recreational outings such as the Zoo, The MOST, the YMCA, and local playgrounds.
Download and utilize multiple apps for community use.
Abide by ARISE/EFR's technology policy.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
