About the Role
Provide management support to the Garden Centre team with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and assisting the Garden Centre Manager in achieving business success.
Responsibilities
- Understand and actively participate in delivering business goals
- Ensure all employees are aware of business goals
- Develop plans to improve business performance
- Establish and maintain high standards of merchandising and housekeeping
- Co-operate with line and product managers
- Purchase goods according to company guidelines
- Safeguard company property and investigate security issues
- Assist and deputise for the Garden Centre Manager, including key holder duties
- Train and motivate retail teams to maximise sales
