About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and communicate access issues to appropriate site contacts.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
