About the Role
This position involves working in a team environment to directly service the firm's most valuable, sophisticated retail active trader clients in a fast-paced, market-sensitive environment via electronic communication. The goal is to help develop clients into more successful traders while growing their portfolios by providing industry knowledge, education, and support.
Responsibilities
- Order entry
- Software tutorials
- Client and firm risk analysis and management
- Client mentorship through education on complex derivatives trading strategies and products
- Troubleshooting technology issues
- Gathering assets through negotiation, empowerment, education, and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with International Client Services partners to support client onboarding, account maintenance, trading inquiries, and service solutions for clients residing outside the United States
- Serve as a resource for clients and internal departments including Retail Trading, Retail Sales, Investor Services, Retail Support, Marketing, and International Client Services
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in trading and financial services
- In addition to English, must be able to read, write, and speak in Mandarin and/or Cantonese
- Series 7 & 63 licenses required OR a condition of employment to successfully obtain these licenses within the allotted training time
- Well-developed and effective communication skills to establish trust and rapport with clients through both verbal and written communication
- General knowledge of the securities industry
- Available to work in a structured schedule and adhere to assigned schedule including lunch and break time as pre-determined by business need
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
- Willingness and desire to learn in a fast-paced and evolving environment
