About the Role

Morning Brew is seeking a Producer for its flagship executive interview show, (name to come)/After Earnings. This social-forward role involves editing, caption writing, and production, partnering directly with the host to prepare and edit interviews with influential business figures. The ideal candidate understands how stories move on social media and can identify timely content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok.

Responsibilities

Supporting the ideation, production, post production, and distribution of the Interview Show/After Earnings content.
Identifying the best topics and clips to amplify on social media and hands-on editing social video.
Working with talent on research needs, topic ideas, story/show structure, and delivery.
Working with and assisting the booking team for all guest prep & execution.
Coordinating with the broader Morning Brew teams to keep them informed of projects and look for areas of collaboration.
Working with our social director for a strategy to grow a robust and engaged audience across platforms, especially X and Linkedin.

Requirements

Enthusiastic about and have strong knowledge of business, markets and the economy.
Control Room experience and know how to support a live/live-to-tape show.
Experienced with Adobe Premiere and Pro Tools.
Familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
Understand the major social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn).
Outstanding communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
Impeccable eye for detail and creative opportunities.
Ability to work on a deadline.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in media and podcast production, with live experience.
Knowledge of best practices in media and podcast production.
