About the Role

MFC Training is seeking Part Time Dispatchers to join our team in London, Ontario. We are Canada's largest private flight school, dedicated to cultivating the next generation of pilots through innovation, reliability, and purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate aircraft scheduling with maintenance, flight operations, and students.
  • Dispatch and release aircraft for training and rental flights.
  • Perform radio communication and monitor daily flights.
  • Conduct flight following of aircraft per the Flight Training Operations Manual.
  • Respond promptly to aircraft occurrences, adhering to the Emergency Response Manual.
  • Monitor weather conditions and update hourly details.
  • Coordinate and record fuel deliveries and daily inspections.
  • Distribute and maintain oil inventory.
  • Distribute flight preparation items such as Canadian Flight Supplements and fuel strainers.
  • Ensure Aircraft Journey Logbooks are kept up-to-date.
  • Supervise and coordinate ramp activities for aircraft and vehicles.
  • Ensure aircraft on the ramp and in the hangar are secure.
  • Collect payments from students, rental pilots, and others.
  • Monitor and record cancellations for senior staff.
  • Welcome students and visitors, answer calls, and perform follow-ups.
  • Balance daily float and verify shift reports.
  • Update, maintain, and/or improve aircraft and operational checklists.
  • Communicate and coordinate across multiple base locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to receive and apply performance feedback.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times.
  • Hold an Industry Canada Restricted Radio certificate.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
