Responsibilities

  • Perform installations of Smoke Guard.
  • Perform repairs and replacement of Smoke Guard.
  • Complete and submit daily reports and warranty work reports thoroughly.
  • Participate in fire inspections, including testing equipment and providing product documentation to customers.
  • Coordinate on-site with other trades for power needs or unit housing requirements.
  • Work efficiently to minimize mobilizations and travel time.
  • Attend and actively participate in required safety trainings.
  • Notify management of job site issues and address them promptly.
  • Ensure professional and respectful interactions on job sites and maintain good working relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to gain in-depth technical knowledge of Smoke Guard products and perform troubleshooting and repair work.
  • Ability to read building specifications and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools and ability to determine the correct tools and equipment needed.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete work on time and according to quality standards.
  • Ability to carry and lift heavy objects (50lbs), walk and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required safety certifications.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, load and unload equipment, and safely operate a company vehicle.
  • Current Texas driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Regular travel within Texas (Austin & San Antonio metro areas) is required.
