Responsibilities
- Perform installations of Smoke Guard.
- Perform repairs and replacement of Smoke Guard.
- Complete and submit daily reports and warranty work reports thoroughly.
- Participate in fire inspections, including testing equipment and providing product documentation to customers.
- Coordinate on-site with other trades for power needs or unit housing requirements.
- Work efficiently to minimize mobilizations and travel time.
- Attend and actively participate in required safety trainings.
- Notify management of job site issues and address them promptly.
- Ensure professional and respectful interactions on job sites and maintain good working relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to gain in-depth technical knowledge of Smoke Guard products and perform troubleshooting and repair work.
- Ability to read building specifications and blueprints.
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools and ability to determine the correct tools and equipment needed.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete work on time and according to quality standards.
- Ability to carry and lift heavy objects (50lbs), walk and stand for long periods.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required safety certifications.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, load and unload equipment, and safely operate a company vehicle.
- Current Texas driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Regular travel within Texas (Austin & San Antonio metro areas) is required.
