About the Role
The Formula, a premier luxury medical spa in Staten Island, NY, is hiring a Licensed Aesthetician to provide advanced skincare treatments in a high-end, patient-focused environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate aesthetician who wants to grow their career in non-surgical aesthetics while working alongside experienced medical providers.
Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic services including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, skin resurfacing, and other advanced skincare procedures
- Conduct thorough consultations and develop customized treatment plans based on each client's goals
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care and recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products
- Maintain accurate patient documentation while following all safety, compliance, and infection control standards
- Promote retail skincare products and treatment plans to help clients achieve optimal results
- Assist with practice marketing initiatives, social media content, and client education
- Collaborate with our medical providers to deliver an exceptional patient experience
Requirements
- Valid New York State Esthetician License
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetic practice preferred
- Experience performing advanced skincare treatments; laser experience is a plus
- Strong consultation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Passion for continuing education and staying current with aesthetic treatments and technologies
- Professional appearance with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury medical spa environment
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
